A Personal Testimony: How Gut Health Changed My Life

Before I discovered the power of gut health, I was trapped in a cycle of illness, chronic pain, and what doctors called "my normal." It felt hopeless—until one day, I stumbled across a Facebook post that stopped me in my tracks. It described a woman’s experience with colon hydrotherapy and how it transformed her health, even releasing black, tar-like mucoid plaque from her gut. Could this be the answer I’d been searching for?

Two weeks later, I walked into my first appointment, and it was the beginning of a transformation I could never have imagined. That one session sparked a journey that not only healed me but also ignited a passion for helping others.

Today, as a Colon Hydrotherapist and founder of Queen of Detox, I’ve dedicated my life to empowering others to take control of their health, starting with the gut. Every story I hear from my clients is a reminder of why I do what I do—and I’m so grateful to be part of their journeys.

  • I was first introduced to colonics by my boss – weird right! Well thank goodness he enlightened me as they have changed my life! Kim is a legend, there’s no other way to say it. From day one she made me feel comfortable and in safe hands. She is professional, caring and very knowledgeable – do yourself a favour and book in! If we all put aside any pride, dignity, ego or whatever it is blocking us (pun intended) from being fascinated by this and just experience the process, we would be a healthier society. The amount of money I have spent on supplements, even naturopath prescribed ones is insane! I never want to know how much money I’ve thrown down the toilet (literally!) because now I don’t need them - seriously! Magnesium, Vit D, Vit B, Vit C, Iron, Zinc – all the ‘normal’ ones are just not needed anymore. I thought I would be tired, stressed, grumpy when Kim recommended I don’t take them while going through the initial colonic process (coupled with the ultimate fibre product) but I’m not! I’m hydrating quicker and I feel like I’m absorbing nutrients from food now. Kim is a wealth of knowledge and is more than happy to share what she knows – she’s lived it. As my colleague said to me, “I don’t really need convincing, the proof that it works is how well you look!” I don’t crave sugar anymore. I enjoyed a drink on the weekend but now I don’t even want that! Candida folks – it’s the enemy, your cravings come from having too much of it in your system – once you flush it out you won’t want the bad stuff anymore! Brain fog or brog fain as we call it – gone. #gamechanger I have tried so many things and always felt ‘better’ but knew something was missing. I’m so grateful I found out what it was.   • Having seen my partner start this journey I quickly became fascinated and strangely felt dirty! I've tried so many other things and nothing seemed to work - reiki, meditation, innovation therapy, bowen therapy, fasting, every supplement under the sun even melatonin for sleeping and anti anxiety medication. All had some positive effects, but something was missing. I was always tired and constantly in a deep state of dread over nothing. My eyes were sensitive to sunlight.   • Once you have booked your appointment, with payment made, you will receive email and text reminders. Please ensure your details are entered carefully and correctly.

  • A deposit or full payment must be paid to secure your booking. You can pay the remainder in cash, bank transfer or eftpos upon completion of your appointment.

  • There will be NO REFUNDS once your payment is paid however your appointment can be rescheduled within a certain timeframe without losing your payment (see below). We allow a maximin of 2 reschedules.

  •  As your appointment is held just for you, if you cancel or reschedule your appointment within 24 hours of your appointment time, your deposit will be lost.
